Before founding Zojacks, Nate recently exited Liberty Security, which he founded over 17 years ago. He is an expert in technology and loves to solve problems by combining creativity, sensors, and software.
At Liberty Security, Nate bootstrapped the company’s growth with a $5000 LOC and $5000 Credit card to become the largest independent Alarm/Home Automation Company in Canada at the time of the sale. With over 30,000 customers nationwide and over 100,000 installations, he knows how to scale a business quickly and efficiently. He is an effective leader because of his ability to relate to people and get the most out of their abilities.
When Nate is not advising ZoJacks, you can find him spending time with his wife Whitney and their six beautiful children. He enjoys golfing, skiing, and being outside. Nate also spends 10-20 hours a week volunteering for his church, where he finds great joy.

Dustin obtained his Diploma in Accounting, his Bachelor’s degree in Management, and his Master’s in Business Administration with a focus on Technology and Innovation. He has owned and operated multiple small businesses over the past 12 years, with experience in product- and service-based industries. His most recent experience was a management consulting firm he launched to improve business efficiencies and operations in veterinary hospitals.
Dustin has extensive experience in Business Development, Marketing, Operations, and Strategy, but his passion lies in people, teams, and emotional intelligence. He stands behind the belief that the right team can accomplish anything. When he isn’t working, he’s spending as much time outside with his wife and three beautiful kids.
As an original founder of ZoJacks, Taylor brings more than a 16 years of leadership in Canada’s security systems industry, where he has led national growth, technology innovation, and operational excellence. In his role as Vice President, he scaled recurring revenue operations from a few thousand clients to tens of thousands nationwide, combining advanced security technologies with efficient operations to deliver lasting value for customers.
Recognized in SP&T News Top 10 Under 40 and featured on CXO Talk for his perspectives on leadership and innovation, Taylor is committed to building high-performing teams. Guided by the belief that results matter but people matter more, he emphasizes trust, mentorship, and accountability to foster both professional growth and measurable business success.

VP of Strategy & Innovation
Logan has spent his entire career in sales. He started in door to door sales where he managed teams of over 25 sales reps selling home automation products. He has spent the last 12 years in the insurance space as a top producing broker where he was responsible to package, sell and manage insurance accounts. Logan most recently was responsible for directing the Western Canadian division of one of the fastest growing insurance brokerages in Canada. He enjoys everything sports and loves to be active with his wife and 3 children. He coaches multiple minor league sports teams and is involved as a member of the local little league baseball board.
Logan is excited to be a part of a company that is looking to solve one of the insurance industries biggest challenges-water damage. The fast paced, positive culture at ZoJacks is something he looks forward to being a part of!
With over 15 years of experience in leadership, financial strategy, and operational management, Dustin brings a unique perspective to risk management at ZoJacks. He doesn’t just understand technology; he understands the financial realities of running a business and managing assets.
Dustin spent a decade in the financial sector with IG Wealth Management, rising to Division Director where he mastered the intricacies of financial planning and asset protection. His strategic mindset was further honed during his seven-year tenure as a Municipal Councillor, where he managed municipal capital budgets and long-term community planning.
Most recently, he served as a Regional Manager for a major national service provider, overseeing operations, recruiting, and business development across Canada. This blend of high-level financial stewardship and “boots on the ground” operational leadership makes him an invaluable partner for organizations looking to mitigate risk and protect their investments.
In his personal time, Dustin enjoys spending time with his family, and cheering on his kids when they are participating in football, basketball, baseball and golf.

Derek Adkins has been with ZoJacks for over 2 years in various roles. He is pursuing a BS in Economics at Brigham Young University, passionate about corporate growth and strategy. He grew up in San Diego, California, and enjoys playing golf and spending time with friends and family.

Eduardo Diaz brings over 15 years of experience in security technology, building operations, and client service. After managing group homes and leading large care teams early in his career, he transitioned into security and automation—designing and delivering integrated systems for residential, commercial, and healthcare clients across Canada.
He later expanded into commercial security where he helped property managers and condo boards strengthen their buildings with advanced surveillance, access control, and life-safety technologies.
Today, Eduardo applies this technical and operational background to proactive leak-prevention solutions, helping high-rise and multi-residential properties reduce risk, avoid costly water damage, and protect their communities.

With several years of experience in account management and property management, Jodi brings a strong blend of high-level customer service and technical expertise. She began her career in account management at an early age, managing key accounts, ensuring client satisfaction, and delivering customized solutions that improved operational efficiency. These experiences built a solid foundation in relationship management and understanding complex client needs.
She later transitioned into property management. For nearly 15 years she successfully managed high-end condominiums and homeowners associations (HOAs), overseeing and managing daily operations, maintenance, budgeting, and vendor relationships while providing exceptional service to residents and board members. This role strengthened her skills in conflict resolution, leadership, and community-focused service.
Jodi looks forward to contributing to ZoJacks’ continued growth and positive impact in the condominium and property management space for many years.
Outside of work, Jodi enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and fur babies.

JennyAnne brings a career built on connection, organization, and getting things done right. She managed a sales team and helped to open a retail home decor store , pairing a natural gift for building relationships with sharp business instincts. Her background spans professional home organizing and client development, project management, and hands-on construction knowledge from general contractor school. Most recently, she served as an Executive Assistant at a corporate company, working closely alongside the CEO to keep operations running smoothly. Outside of work, JennyAnne is a proud mom to four boys and two dogs, and she spends her free time hiking and traveling with her family.

Caley Hagues attended Utah Valley University and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in communications and a minor in marketing. While attending UVU, she discovered her interest in and excitement for digital marketing, social media, data analytics, and content creation. Before college, Caley attended Cosmetology school in Arizona, where she grew up. Working as a hairdresser for six years provided the best insights on customer experience and service.
Caley loves traveling to visit new national parks with her husband in her free time, spending time with her parents and five siblings, and enjoying the sunshine.

Hyrum graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in Exercise and Wellness. While his academic background is rooted in science, he has always had a strong passion for business and problem-solving. With three years of sales experience, Hyrum understands the importance of creating a positive and seamless customer experience throughout the ZoJacks process. Outside of work, he enjoys staying active through exercise and running, and values quality time with family and friends.

After earning a degree in Communications at BYU, Jo began her career in office management and event coordination. She has worked for multiple companies to create efficient processes that elevate the customer experience–and has discovered a passion for problem solving along the way.
In her free time, she works with youth sports programs and has coached multiple cheerleading teams over the years. Her favorite part of coaching is building strong connections and helping others realize their potential.

Katelyn has three years of experience in legal assisting and six years of experience in bookkeeping, with a bookkeeping certificate from ICS. Her varied experience has given her a well-rounded understanding of the behind-the-scenes operations and needs of businesses. She enjoys being part of a team and working towards a common goal. She seeks to be organized, efficient and detail-oriented in every aspect of her work.
Katelyn is a busy mother of four and finds fulfillment as a homemaker and bookkeeper. She also has a diploma in Makeup Artistry for TV and Film and enjoys working as a freelance artist whenever time permits.

Landon Garner is President of Kajeet, a leading provider of private wireless and IoT solutions for education, government, and underserved communities. Promoted to the President role, he oversees all commercial operations including sales, marketing, partnerships, and customer success.
Previously CMO at Kajeet and SVP/CMO at KORE Wireless—where he was instrumental in the company’s successful NYSE public listing—Garner has spent over a decade driving growth and high-profile exits for major IoT connectivity companies.
He also serves on the board of directors of ZoJacks and as an advisor to Graham Partners. He holds a B.S. in Marketing from BYU-Idaho and an MBA from the University of Hawai’i’s Shidler College of Business, where he was a Presidential Scholar.
Jake Bengtson is a Senior Technical Marketing Manager over Data Science products at Cloudera.
Before joining Cloudera and becoming an advisor for ZoJacks, Jake worked as a Solution Architect for ExxonMobil, where he designed and led data science and analytics projects for the Research, Engineering, and Manufacturing organizations. Additionally, Jake has worked as a Data Scientist for ExxonMobil IT and a Senior Data Scientist for FarmersEdge.
He holds a master’s and bachelor’s degree in information systems management from Brigham Young University. Jake is an avid soccer player in his spare time and enjoys getting on the golf course.

Ritch Wood was appointed Nu Skin’s chief executive officer in 2017. Previously, Ritch has served in various capacities at Nu Skin including chief financial officer from 2003 to 2017, vice president of finance, vice president of new market development, director of finance of new market development and controller of the Pharmanex division. He also played a key role in opening many European countries for NuSkin. He earned a Bachelor of Science and Master of Accountancy from Brigham Young University and in 2010 was named a CFO of the Year by Utah Business magazine.
Nate Richard is currently the Chief Revenue Officer of Tech9, a rapidly growing custom software development company headquartered in Utah, with offices in LATAM and India. At Tech9, Nate oversees sales, marketing, customer success, revenue operations, recruiting, and business development. Prior to Tech9, Nate led the North America region at Qualtrics — comprised of both corporate and public sectors — leading sales, delivery, and operations. Qualtrics IPO’d for $27b in 2021. Nate enjoys endurance training and time in Hawaii, Lake Tahoe, and New York with his wife and kids.
Jim Balderson is the Founder & CEO of Fort Street Partners which owns over 1 million SF of office, medical, and retail space throughout Utah. Prior to Fort Street, Jim has 15 years of commercial brokerage experience and was the founder and managing partner of the JLL Salt Lake office . Jim received a B.S. in Economics from BYU and was the captain of the 2007 nationally ranked BYU Basketball team.
Connor MacLennan, as Chief Investment Officer, Connor leads WellQuest’s growth through the acquisition and development of new communities, working closely with operations and finance to execute growth strategies and cultivate new partnerships. He joined WellQuest from PGIM Real Estate, where he led senior housing investments across the Western U.S. Previously, he was Vice President of Senior Housing at Tunbridge Peak and held investment roles at Welltower, Inc., sourcing acquisition and development opportunities in the U.S. and Canada. Connor holds a bachelor’s degree from Brigham Young University and a master’s degree in real estate finance from Cornell University, where he has also served as a guest lecturer.
